Who is Lucy Chu?

 

E-Z Notes was created 1989 and managed by three generations of pianists and educators!  Lucy Chu is a recognized piano teacher and music educator with more than 60 years of teaching experience.  E-Z Notes is highly-regarded and endorsed by major composers and pedagogues.  A native of Shanghai, Lucy received music performance degrees from Indiana University and continued her studies at the Juilliard and Mannes Schools of Music. 

Lucy’s daughter, Laura Chu Stokes NCTM has also taught private, partner and group lessons in her independent studio and at Appalachian State University. Laura has worked with her mother since graduating from Indiana University’s Jacobs School of Music. She and her daughter, Kasey Stokes — a graduate in piano performance from the College-Conservatory of Music/University of Cincinnati and current Brand Ambassador at Steinway Hall — handle daily operations and marketing of E-Z Notes.
